Personality: A she-cat as curious as a young kit, Dappleblossom is one with a heart of gold and happy glow to match. She is a very warm-hearted cat who enjoys nothing more than to be in company with others, though she doesn't mind being alone for a while. She doesn't violence and will refuse to put an end to another cat's life, unless it is for a very serious reason. She considers herself more of a listener than a talker, though the truth is that she can be chatty just as much. If she knows you well enough, she will talk your ear off without mercy until she gets bored. She is a patient she-cat as well, and can be laid-back at times, though it seems more as a facade as she can be worried at times and maybe even paranoid, creating random scenarios that is unlikely to happen. A persistent molly, she can be considered a nosy she-cat who can't seem to keep her whiskers out of another cat's business and will purposely attempt to wedge herself into the issue, no matter how much the cat doesn't want her to. Since she isn't born from RiverClan, it isn't too strange that she has a phobia of the water, even though she knows how to swim. She loves fish, but she doesn't hunt for it because of her instinctive fear. She has never admitted to anyone about it because she will always create an excuse for it, showing how embarrassed she is and cares how others think of her. She is also considered to be prideful as well, as she can get defensive. Nonetheless, she is a kind, happy she-cat who loves her friends. Whenever she meets a new cat, she does get a bit timid and more quiet than she usually is, but warms up to them quickly and becomes her usual chatty self. She can also be surprisingly a brave cat when she wants to. She will jump to a cat's rescue at any costs, even if it means having to face her fears for a second.
Backstory: Before Dappleblossom was known as her chatty warrior self, Dappleblossom was known as Autumn, a tiny little kitten that lived her young life as a kittypet near the forest. Autumn was a purebred and was born by show cats and was destined to be one like them and make show kittens as well. Autumn spent most of her baby days playing either in her twoleg's nest or outside. Sometimes she'll bring her twolegs a mouse or bird that she caught earlier, however she is always "rewarded" for all her hard work by a bath, to which she began to tolerate as she got a bit older, while her kill gets thrown out. With each passing moon, her ever growing desire to explore the forest ached at her stomach. Finally, one day, her twolegs accidentally left a window open with enough room for her to slip out and run off. She was so happy, she felt so free as she felt the air flow through her fur as she ran. She saw a bird that hasn't seen her yet and she jumped off a tree to catch it and was happy she finally got to eat it. After eating it, she decided she had enough and wanted to go back. She realized she didn't know how. It began to rain as Autumn continue to amble the forest looking for her twolegs. She didn't mind getting wet, though her paws were stained by the mud as she walked. As she continued walking a hungry badger saw the kitten, deciding she should be it's food and began chasing her. The mud on her paws and the slippery surface causes her to fall into a nearby river. She calls for help, trying to shriek above the water and the rain, but is unable to. She nearly drowned when a passerby cat saw her and brought her out the river. They assumed she was a kitten from RiverClan, the nearest clan from where they were. They brought her to the territory and showed her to a border patrol, who said that this must be a kit from their clan. None of the cats recognized her, but they will take her in to see if any queens are missing a kit. This is when Autumn finally wakes up to see so many cats around, causing her to panic. They calm her down, telling her where she is. She tells them that she lives with her twolegs and left to explore the forest, but she got lost when it began to storm. When she reveal she is a kittypet, not clanborn, a few cats look down and see her kittypet collar being hid due to her chest fur. She didn't have the noisy item usually on collars and made no noise when she walked so they wouldn't be able to tell she had it on. While a few are reluctant to take a kittypet back to camp, one cat came up and picked her up, taking her to medicine cat den just in case she has an injury. She is told when she is ready, they can take her home, if she wanted. As she was recovering she was able to ask many questions and many answers on clan life, and was able to witness it firsthand. Within a quarter moon, it was time to show her the way back to her twolegs. But... she didn't exactly want to go back. Within the little time she spent in the clan, she realized she'd be happier here than being a show cat. She felt no shame of once being a kittypet however and hides her collar in her thick chest fur from others to help her remember the time with her loving twolegs. She was apprenticed soon after, earning the name Dapplepaw due to her spotty appearance, and was given a patient mentor who was more than happy to have her. She showed that she excelled in hunting, even going as far as to catching birds in mid air, and was a pretty decent fighter, but it was decided that she was better as a hunter, to which she agrees. She didn't train near or in the water at all. What happened that night caused her to develop fear for the water. She never learned to not fear the water or learn to swim, something that is practically vital to a RiverClan warrior. She finally became a warrior and was given the Dappleblossom, for her caring, youthful personality. She spends most of her warrior days hunting food for her clan, she hasn't used her fighting skills against any cat in her life so far, and pestering random cats to get a conversation out of them or to convince them to hunt with her. Her favorite thing to eat is fish, but since she is hydrophobic, she has to depend on others to get for her. One day as Dappleblossom emerged from the warrior den, she noticed the plight of a fiery colored tom with a snappy personality to match. She followed him out of camp and they exchanged secrets with each other. Dappleblossom told him she was afraid of the water, he told her he still had a crush on a she-cat who loved another. He told her to keep this secret, to which she agrees with to. They return to camp and she meets the she-cat who was almost as shy as she was. They make quick friends nonetheless and Dappleblossom is able to see her as a friendly cat. Things remain peaceful until her mate arrives and a fight with the tom ensues. Dappleblossom yells at him, angry at how he could do something like that. He argues back at her before running after the molly and her mate. Dappleblossom felt out of place in the situation and left it alone. She never saw or spoke to him after that. The era of evil leaders occurred while Dappleblossom was still in RiverClan. She didn't support this and she didn't support Bucknight. Once the fighting began to start, she, like many other cats from different clans, fled the clans and became a loner for a while. She and some clan cats formed a band with no true leader as they waited it out Moons after the era has been confirmed to come at a close, Dappleblossom returned to her clan along with many others. She could've returned earlier, but decided to stay away for a while just in case. She returned under the new leadership of Russetstar, to whom she strongly supported. She still does the same things she did before she left, however, despite their fight, she considers Russetstar as a friend and a loyal warrior to her leader.
